Dr. Ryan Nielsen is a certified life coach and somatic practitioner. He is currently training in BodyDreaming, an approach to the treatment of developmental trauma created by Marian Dunlea. He is an Oxford published author, and his work has been a #1 New Release on Amazon.

As a creative artist, he has performed and presented at universities and festivals throughout the United States and internationally, and has been a guest on the Artifice and Trust the Process podcasts.

Ryan’s work has been featured on the French Espace Francophone Jungien, and its English counterpart, Jungian Psychology Space. He has also presented to the International Association of Jungian Studies multiple times.

Ryan’s distinctive approach to astrology is rooted in the myths and images of the archetypal feminine, and draws on the works of Jungian authors like Marion Woodman, Anne Baring, James Hillman, Thomas Moore, and Liz Greene. In this role, he has been a guest on the podcast, On the Soul’s Terms, hosted by Bali-based psychotherapist Chris Skidmore.

Ryan and his wife, Holly, live in Utah with their three children, Holly’s garden, and Ryan’s books.
